High Caliber Blood USA

Brady’s fascination with traditional bowhunting, dogs, and the great outdoors led him to pursue a career in blood tracking. He started his quest after becoming frustrated about the loss of a seriously injured animal, which motivated him to find a way to prevent similar losses. He is determined to never let another animal go unrecovered after losing a buck he had shot in 2008.

In his investigation, he read about blood tracking dogs’ centuries-old use in Europe and consulted works such as John Jeanneney’s “Tracking Dogs for Finding Wounded Deer.” He studied a lot before obtaining his first tracking dog, a wachtelhund named Caliber, in 2009. Soon after, Caliber began training, and during his first season, the dog was able to successfully recover multiple deer.

Tracking for other people was a wonderfully fulfilling experience that made this newly acquired ability into something much more. Caliber and Brady eventually retrieved a large number of deer for sportsmen in Kansas and Missouri. Other dogs, such as Echo, Layla, and Boone, took up the mantle once Caliber retired, carrying on the important role. The exceptional Hanoverian hound Boone distinguished out in particular, achieving a UBT 2 certification in challenging circumstances.

At an early age, Boone demonstrated the power of his training and intuition by being able to track under difficult conditions. Brady’s passion for blood tracking has spread to dog training, and there are only a few spots available for people who want to teach their canines this useful talent. Although he is willing to deal with older dogs that exhibit promise, he focuses on younger canines. They provide hunters with a dependable opportunity to retrieve lost wildlife in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Northern Arkansas.
